AGRONOMIST TRAINEES
Positions based at SAFACAM or SOCAPALM

Description of function

For a period of 6 to 12 months, as “Trainee Agronomist”:
– Training in culture oil palm and rubber (agricultural techniques, plantation development, budget monitoring and cost control);
– Training in the management of plantations;
– Interim Planting Assistant.
Subsequently, as “Planting Assistant”:
– Assistant to the Plantation Manager;

– In charge of an oil palm and/or rubber tree division (1,500 ha);
– Management of agronomic aspects (nurseries, development, harvesting and maintenance);
– Creation and maintenance of infrastructures (roads, bridges, villages, etc.);
– Budget monitoring and cost control;
– Workforce supervision (team leaders and workers, 500 – 1,000 people).
Profile

Master in Agronomy;
Francophone, knowledge of English is a plus.
Required experience

0 to 2 years;
Experience in a similar environment is a plus.
