Job Description: Front Office Manager – Mobile Money Distribution
Mission:
The front office manager will play a crucial role in managing direct interactions with customers and partners
. He will be the face of the company and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and
facilitating transactions related to MTN mobile money services.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Reception and Customer Service:
Welcome customers and partners with professionalism and friendliness.
Provide detailed information on MTN mobile money services and answer customer questions
.
2. Transaction Processing:
Carry out MTN mobile money transactions: deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
Quickly resolve all problems related to transactions and the use of the MTN
mobile money service and provide real-time support (Branded store).
Maintain cash accounts and report daily, weekly and monthly.
3. Sales and Promotion:
Actively promote MTN mobile money services and encourage the registration of new
users.
Offer promotions and incentive programs to drive sales.
Sell digital terminals to customers.
4. User Training:
Provide basic training to new users on the use of MTN mobile
money services.
Organize awareness sessions to improve understanding of
available features.
5. Complaints Management:
Receive, register and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
Collaborate with internal teams (Back office, sales team) to ensure
rapid resolution of problems.
6. Maintaining the point of sale:
Keep the POS clean and in a friendly atmosphere to facilitate customers’ stay there.
Required Skills:1. Customer Service Skills:
Previous experience in a customer service role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Sales Skills:
Ability to actively promote products and achieve sales targets.
Sense of initiative to identify sales opportunities.
3. Technical Skills:
Understanding of the MTN mobile money system to guide customers in their transactions.
Mastery of basic IT tools.
4. Reactivity and Stress Management:
Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
Professional management of stressful situations.
Additional Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree, a university degree in business, marketing, or related field would be
an advantage.
Previous experience in the mobile financial services or mobile telephony industry.
Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
