Hotel receptionist YAOUNDE
Job Description
We are looking for a Hotel Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for our clients and manage all aspects of their accommodation
Your responsibilities will include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information on rooms, rates, and amenities. If you have a taste for customer service and professional experience in the hospitality industry, we would like to meet you.
Finally, you will help us create a memorable pleasant experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform all arrival and departure duties
- Manage telephone and online reservations
- Inform customers of payment methods and verify their credit card details
- Record guest information (contact details, dates of stay, etc.)
- Greet guests upon arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information regarding the hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully equipped to meet guest needs
- Confirm group bookings and arrange personalized services for VIP clients and event attendees, such as wedding guests
- Propose additional equipment and services, if appropriate
- Maintain booking and payment records
Requirements
- Work experience as a hotel receptionist
- Experience with hotel reservation software, such as Hotel Soft de Barclé , Hotel Pro, Easy, iplan etc.
- Knowledge of how booking sites work, such as Booking and TripAdvisor
- customer service attitude
- Excellent sense of organization and communication
- A degree in hotel management would be a plus
