DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES / HR CHIEF MANAGER
Nyété-Kribi, Cameroon
MAIN MISSION:
Under the direct supervision of the CEO, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing Human Resources management policies in line with the strategies and business priorities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Development and Implementation of Human Resources Management Policies
– Advise the CEO on the vision and strategic framework of Human Resources management, the practices and policies to be followed in order to optimize the use of the personnel of the company.
– Set direction for the development of corporate HR policies, rules, regulations and standards that are aligned with corporate strategies and priorities in various areas of HR, including capacity building , career development, staff mobility, job and skills management, social dialogue, compensation and benefits management, staff health and well-being.
– Approve the procedures relating to the management of Human Resources
– Ensure compliance with laws and regulations within the framework of the company’s activities
– Ensure the documentation necessary for the company’s activities
– Ensure relations with labor administration services and other agencies
2. Development and Implementation of Remuneration and Salary Costs Control Strategies
– Ensure harmonization of the classification and treatment of personnel.
– Centralize the processing reports of the constituent elements of the sectors’ remuneration.
– Consolidate payroll information from other departments.
– Validate all pay elements approved by the pay control department.
– Validate the payroll control report.
– Coordinate payroll control and production.
– Validate staff authorization – Validate staff commitments.
– Process and validate debit notes.
– Validate payroll production.
– Centralize and control payroll elements.
– Ensure the payment of taxes, payroll taxes and social charges within the legal deadlines.
– Control the update of the payroll file.
– Follow the evolution of the payroll in order to control the salary costs.
– Consolidate the elements of the social dashboards relating to salary costs.
– Follow the evolution of the wage bill with a view to controlling wage costs.
– Consolidate the elements of the social dashboard relating to salary costs.
– Formulate and implement the improvement of computerized salary processing.
– Follow the social analytical accounting with the financial director.
– Analyze the accounts of social organizations.
– Prepare salary negotiations.
3. Monitoring of the Integrated Human Resources Management System
– Propose changes to be made with regard to the progress objectives defined by the CEO.
– Propose actions to be implemented taking into account the results and information relating to customer satisfaction.
– Evaluate the effectiveness of the improvement actions decided upon.
– Train and sensitize department staff.
JOB PROFILE
Diploma and experience
– Bacc+4/5 in law, human resources management or any other similar field
– At least 15 years of professional experience in HRM, therefore 5 years in a similar position in the agro-industrial and plantation sector.
– A certification would be a plus

– Good knowledge of labor law in Cameroon.
– Good knowledge of microcomputers.
– Good knowledge of Human Resources management procedures.
– Good command of the French and English language (Bilingual)
