BEETLE HERITAGE HOLDING SA is currently looking for one (01) Industrial Purchasing Manager for its headquarters based in Douala .
Attached to the procurement department, the Industrial Purchasing Manager will be responsible for ensuring the supply of all the technical needs of the factories for efficient production. Among other things, he must:
- Carry out and monitor the technical purchases necessary for the company’s industrial activities,
- Guarantee repair and maintenance according to quantity, cost, quality and delivery time objectives.
- Guarantee performance and efficiency Purchasing/Approval of Spare Parts
- Participate fully in production continuity, by optimizing flows and costs
ACTIVITIES
– Collect internal needs, support requesters in the precise definition of the need
– Advise and guide Internal Customers in their technical choices, aimed at reducing costs, optimizing internal processes, increasing productivity for factory maintenance.
– Participate in construction sites and projects by optimizing the delivery and provision of parts on production lines.
– Manage purchasing requests by optimizing costs and deadlines for all factory needs.
– Optimize and manage the purchasing process (calls for tenders, negotiation and drafting of contracts)
– Carry out rigorous monitoring of current purchasing requests.
– Source local or international suppliers likely to meet purchasing needs
– Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery times.
– Ensure weekly customer updates for the management and monitoring of current files
– Propose technical solutions and alternatives to the customer in collaboration with partner suppliers
– Process and acknowledge receipt of customer orders
– Transmit purchase orders to suppliers
– Reminder of delays, ARC, confirmation of deadlines
– Manage and update the price list
– Manage billing disputes with suppliers and internal departments concerned
– Evaluate suppliers based on the evaluation grid
– Propose areas for improvement and revisions of internal procedures.
– Monitor suppliers (monitoring appointments, etc.)
– Monitor and update defined KPIs and dashboards.
– Ensure reporting of your activity
PROFILE
– Academic level: Industrial engineer; Industrial mechanical and production engineer;
– Professional experience: 03 years minimum in a similar position;
TECHNICAL SKILLS
– Mastery of industrial agri-food production techniques.
– Mastery of negotiation techniques and different methods of consulting service providers (calls for tender, referencing, etc.);
– Perfect expertise, particularly technical, of production chains;
– Perfect knowledge of the maintenance environment, its technical constraints and have the notion of urgency.
– Very good knowledge of the company’s different professions in terms of economic and organizational constraints;
– Good knowledge of the logistics and supply chain;
– Mastery of the main import/export constraints and procedures: customs, transport, insurance, currencies, etc.;
– Good command of IT tools when using the purchasing information system: purchasing dashboards, supplier evaluation grids, etc.;
