With a view to strengthening the teams of its Information Systems Department and in connection with the AIR+ project (Global Digital Transformation Program), Advans Cameroon is launching an external call for applications for the position of “Information Systems Assistant”. ‘Information and Management (GIS)’.

Contract: Fixed-term contract Number of positions: 1
Missions / Responsibilities:
Placed under the responsibility of the GIS Supervisor, the GIS Assistant will have the main missions of:
Carrying out technological watches and proposing innovations to the occasion of budgetary processes;
Assist operational teams in creating queries in databases / setting up reports;
Ensure the proper completeness of periodic processing, in particular end-of-day operations;
Ensure the backup and archiving of management software data;
Ensure, if necessary, the restoration of data from management software;
Administer profiles and users of management software;
Analyze, design and develop management software;
Participate in testing new versions of management software;
Assist the operational teams (training, creation of requests, access to databases, etc.);
Provide support to management software users;
Create ad hoc queries or reports in collaboration with business experts;
Propose strategies for securing management software services;
Diagnose and provide solutions to recurring problems/incidents that require special attention;
Participate in the assistance of staff in the use of computer software resources;
Backup and archiving of computer data;
Perform first-level control of the various activities related to management software services or computer software projects.

Use and configuration of banking software (CBS);
IT equipment management;

Quality of analysis and synthesis;

Knowledge of IT tools and management systems;

Oral and written expression in French and English;

Profil / Profile:
Required profile:
Level of studies: Minimum Bac +2 in IT/Management IT.
Experience:
More than 02 years of experience in the GIS field
Experience in banking or microfinance would be an asset
