EMPLOYMENT: CCA BANK SA is looking for 1 Internal Audit Director for the needs of its activities.

I-MISSION

Attached to the Board of Directors of CCA BANK SA, the holder of the position will have the fundamental mission of helping the organization achieve its objectives by evaluating, through a systematic and methodical approach, its risk management and control processes. , and corporate governance, and by making proposals to strengthen their effectiveness.

II- PROFILE
Diploma: BAC+4/5 in management science, ITB banking management, or any other equivalent diploma;
Experience: minimum seven (07) years in internal audit;
Have very good knowledge of governance and management practices;
Have a very good knowledge of the banking environment, regulations and professions;
Have very good knowledge of risk assessment methods and related controls;
Have a good knowledge of ethics and internal audit standards;
Master writing techniques and oral communication;
Good knowledge of the regulatory environment, audit and control reference frameworks;
Have a very good accounting and financial culture;
Have solid knowledge of budgetary and analytical accounting, standards;
Have a good command of data analysis tools;

IV – MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development, implementation and review of the internal audit charter and obtain the opinion and acceptance of general management as well as the approval of the Board
Periodically evaluate whether the mission, powers and responsibilities defined in the charter still enable the internal audit department to achieve its objectives. The result of this periodic evaluation must be communicated to general management and the board: Ensure that the rules and procedures intended to provide a framework for internal audit are established and observed by the internal auditors in the context of the execution of audit activities;

 

 

 

Ensure the permanent effectiveness of the independence of the internal audit function within the establishment;
Ensure that the audit plan is designed in accordance with the requirements of CRIPP on the one hand and the requirements of the COBAC regulations in force on the other. Said plan must also be submitted to general management for opinion and acceptance and approved by the audit committee or the board;
Ensure that resources (material, human, financial, etc.) are effectively allocated to carry out the approved internal audit plan
Effectively manage the internal audit activity to ensure that it adds value to the organization, ensuring that assurance and advisory engagements (planned or unplanned) are planned and executed in accordance with on the one hand to the requirements of the reference documentation in force within internal audit (CRIPP, internal audit manual, etc.) and on the other hand to the requirements of various regulations (COBAC, BEAC, MINEFI, etc.) .) governing the sector of activity;
Ensure that the institution’s governance, risk management and control processes are assessed and appropriate recommendations made for their improvement:
Ensure that on the one hand the professional development plan for internal auditors is developed and implemented and on the other hand that the quality assurance and improvement program (PAAQ) is put in place;
Ensure that the results of audit missions and related recommendations are communicated to key stakeholders as soon as possible;
To ensure adequate coverage and avoid duplication, the internal audit manager should share information and coordinate activities with other internal and external assurance and consulting providers.
Ensure the follow-up of the recommendations formulated and accepted within the framework of internal audit missions so as to obtain an implementation rate of at least 80% in general, and 100% for medium and high risks in particular;
Ensure that mechanisms are put in place to ensure compliance of banking operations and their control systems with regulatory requirements;
Ensure the monitoring of all projects launched by the company as part of the development of its activities and ensure their alignment with the strategies and objectives of the organization: Evaluate
the monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators ( ICP) to determine whether management receives sufficient and timely information;
Ensure that mechanisms are put in place to promote the image of internal audit among all employees;
Carry out all tasks assigned by management.
