BEETLE HERITAGE HOLDING SA/CA is currently looking for an INTERNAL CONTROL MANAGER , M/F, for its headquarters based in Douala .
The RCI POLE INDUSTRIEL attached to the Audit, Compliance and Risk Management Department will have the mission of:
- Ensure internal control activities of the semolina factory;
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of internal controllers and inventory controllers;
- Guarantee respect, compliance, relevance and quality of procedures within the framework of the internal control system;
- Remedy malfunctions by proposing corrective measures and recommendations concerning the activities examined.
Activities
Organizational and IT management
- Participates in the identification and formalization of processes;
- Participates in identifying risks linked to the company’s various processes and procedures;
- Ensures the adequacy between the information system and the processes/procedures;
- Participates in the modeling of processes, procedures, forms, files, registers and reports
- Define access for each target profile in software/packages;
- Configures the access of each user in the software / software packages according to the target profiles;
- Ensures that target/user access profiles are updated in software/packages;
Reporting management
- Design, formalize and ensure the implementation of process reporting tools in collaboration with internal controllers and the expectations of the hierarchy;
- Centralize, produce and disseminate to stakeholders the monthly state of internal consumption on credit and the monthly reporting of control activities
Procedure management
- Participate in the identification of procedures to be written and/or updated;
- Write procedures related to internal control activities;
- Ensure compliance with procedures, memoranda and instructions in force;
- Maintain the procedures manual, physical and digital service notes and information;
- Carry out tests for systematic evaluation of the effective application of memoranda. Monitor and raise awareness among staff on compliance and application of procedures and memos.
Operational control
- Carry out and ensure the implementation of internal control activities at the semolina factory;
- Check supplier invoices, salary statements and balances of all accounts, leave statements and all other bonuses before payment;
- Control and validate internal consumption on credit and cash;
- Plan and organize periodic inventories of raw materials, consumables, goods and general resources;
- Centralize, analyze and validate all physical inventory reports; before distribution to stakeholders and management;
- Implement validated recommendations related to internal control, as part of any audit report;
Coordinates the activity of internal controllers and inventory controllers
- Centralize and periodically use reports from internal controllers and inventory controllers;
- Analyze anomalies detected and recommendations made by your team;
- Provide feedback to each internal controller and inventory controller, after using their periodic reporting;
- Ensure the training and development of your team;
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
PROFILE
– Academic level: Minimum Bac+4/5 in Accounting and Finance, Audit and management control;
– Professional experience : 5 years of experience in a similar position;
COMPETENCES TECHNIQUES
– Mastery of basic IT tools (world, Excel, PowerPoint)
– General knowledge of information systems
– Solid knowledge of project management
– Writing skills and knowledge of technical vocabulary
– Mastery of tax and legal regulations
– Strong negotiation skills
– Strong capacity for anticipation
– Capacity for critical analysis and synthesis
– Good knowledge of risk management
