AFRICA FOOD IMPORT   SA is looking for an INTERNAL CONTROLLER

Reporting to the Audit, Control and Compliance Department, the Internal Controller will be responsible for:

• Guarantee the respect, conformity, relevance and quality of procedures and operations within the framework of the internal control system of its area of ​​​​competence;
• Remedy malfunctions by proposing corrective measures and corrective actions concerning the activities examined in his area of ​​​​competence;
• Ensure the protection of the assets of the entities.

 

 

 

 

ACTIVITIES

Control of commercial activity;

–       Inventory control;

–       Purchase control ;

–       Cash control ;

–       Accounting control ;

–       HR control ;

–       Control   of the IS;

 

 

 

 

 

Other activites

Control and validate internal cash and credit consumption;

–       Participate in service transfers within the headquarters;

–       Classify and archive documents and files related to internal control activities at headquarters;

–       Follow up on the application of recommendations validated in the context of any audit report;

–       Take the initiative to carry out spot checks related to   identified risk activities;

–       Propose relevant actions to improve the functioning of the head office;

–       Carry out specific control missions at the request of the hierarchy (DAC-RCI);

–       Participate in the review and update of procedures.

 

 

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED SKILLS

PROFILE

•              Academic level: Minimum Bac+4 in financial accounting, or in audit and management control
•  Professional experience: 04 years of experience in internal control
•  Maximum age: 35 years + high availability and mobility.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

ü  Ability to propose solutions likely to improve the performance of the decentralized services controlled.

ü  Mastery   of the evaluation of the internal control system of the entity / region;

ü  Have a good command of internal control techniques and tools;

ü  Mastery of the computer tool (SAGE Suite and office pack);
