BEKO CAPITAL ADVISORY SA, a stockbroking company located in the city of Douala, is recruiting an Internal Controller with experience in the stock market or banking sector,
The mission of the Internal Controller will be, among other things, to implement a system to control the organization and processes of the company in order to contribute to the reduction of risks linked to the operation of the company and facilitate the continuity of its activities by case of major problem.
Missions
Reporting to the General Manager, the Internal Controller will be responsible for the following missions:
- Check the compliance of operations carried out taking into account the regulations governing the company’s activities
- Study the risks linked to the company’s activities, establish their mapping, ensure monitoring/evaluation of the effectiveness of the entity’s risk management system
- Define and draft internal control systems (procedures, measurement and alert indicators, etc.) necessary to control identified risks
- Define areas for improvement and formulate recommendations to guarantee optimal risk coverage and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with prudential and ethical provisions in force
- Implement, manage and evaluate the internal control system
- Carry out control of operational procedures
- Write periodic reports of its activities
- Ensure that financial, operational, accounting and other data that is generated by the company or used is accurate and reliable
- Ensure the integrity, reliability, confidentiality and continuous availability of information systems are guaranteed.
Job Requirements
Required profile
- Qualification level: Hold a Bac +5 in Accounting, Control, Audit, finance
- Professional experience: minimum 03 years as an Internal Controller in a company operating in the same or similar sector of activity
- Computer skills Good command of Microsoft (Excel, Powerpoint, Word…)
- Specialized skills: Mastery of audit and control techniques:
- Language skills: Perfect command of English and French, both written and spoken.

- Have knowledge of the financial sector in Central Africa:
- Be able to propose solutions likely to improve the company’s performance:
- Have a perfect knowledge of accounting (SYSCOHADA) in its entirety:
- Have a good command of internal control techniques and tools:
- Have a good capacity for analysis and synthesis and to work autonomously, rigorously, organized and results-oriented
- Master procedures and have good procedural writing skills.
