Recruitment Notice: IT Assistant at AFD

BEETLE HERITAGE HOLDING SA is currently looking for one (03) Computer Assistant for its headquarters based in Douala .

Attached to the information system department, the IT Assistant’s missions are to:

• Install and configure workstations
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting of computer equipment
• Assist company personnel in the use of computer equipment and systems
• Provide user support
• Ensure the interim of its holder in case of unavailability

 

 

 

ACTIVITIES

Install         , configure and configure workstations (Windows 7,   10 and 11, Outlook, printers, copiers,   IP telephone, etc.)

• Diagnose and resolve computer system incidents.
• Ensure the maintenance of the computer equipment of the school (upgrades, repairs, replacement, data transfers…)
• Testing, installing and commissioning new equipment
• Assist and provide technical support to users for the use of video-projection facilities, videoconferencing   and management software.
• Participate in IT projects.
• Ensure the enrichment of knowledge bases.

Ensure         the proper functioning of the multimedia rooms

 

 

 

REQUIRED PROFILE

Hold Bac + 2/3 in computer science / computer maintenance / networks and telecom (minimum)

Good knowledge of common configurations, systems and office tools

Good         knowledge of computer networks and IP telephony

Good         knowledge of video-projection and video-conferencing systems

• Know how to detect and diagnose computer equipment failures
• Adapt to technological developments
• Be bilingual

 

Place of work:  Douala, Cameroon.

Contract:  Permanent contract (CDI).
