Function
MAIN MISSION

The Junior Geologist’s main role is to carry out geological studies, exploration and mining programs. It also ensures optimization and more profitable extraction of quarries.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Update quarry topography
Research resources and reserves in the area
Update quarry traffic plan
Conduct quarry drilling and clean-up activities
Maintain quarry grade
Set up a schedule of raw material exploitation work
Report on the state of quarry equipment
Ensure the continuity of the delivery of raw material to the factory
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
Profile

PROFILE / KEY SKILLS

Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or Mines, Topography
At least 1 year of experience in the trade
Good knowledge of mining techniques
Good knowledge of computers (SURFER, STRATER, MAPSource, EXCEL, QMS)
