BASSAGAL CONSULTING AFRICA, is recruiting for one of its clients in the service sector,
LEGAL MANAGER – M/F (REF. RJ0123)
POSITION BASED IN DOUALA
MISSION
Coordinate and manage all the administrative procedures of the company’s workforce by applying social regulations according to legal and regulatory provisions;
Control the monitoring and updating of the company’s legal and regulatory watch table;
Stay informed regularly about the evolution of the legislation and regulations in force;
Attend hearings when necessary;
Monitor litigation in collaboration with lawyers, courts and administrations;
Negotiate the terms of payment with the company’s debtors;
Update the audience monitoring table;
Monitor recoveries of disputed and doubtful debts;
Assist the company in the drafting of contracts and various legal acts (agreements of all kinds, complaints, requests, minutes, etc.);
Ensure the execution of the memorandums of understanding signed with the company’s debtors;
Consult the Group’s lawyers for the exercise of remedies within the time limits;
Have court decisions lifted and enforced;
Manage all legal aspects of the life of the company;

Study and draft contracts, memorandums of understanding and any other legal act;
Analyze and control legal and litigation files;
Ensure compliance with and application of contracts;
Propose the different practical orientations while avoiding excessive legal risk;
Ensure the relationship with consulting firms;
Regularly update all legal and litigation files;
Check before validation the invoices of the service providers in relation with the legal department;
Write monthly and annual activity reports for the legal department;
Monitor performance indicators for legal and litigation activities;
PROFILE
BAC + 4 in Private Law;
You justify a minimum experience of 05 years in the legal and litigation field;
Be at least 30 years old;
Have a good knowledge of OHADA Law
and Business Law in general;
Have a good knowledge of civil, criminal and social procedures;
Have good knowledge of the Law of Obligations;
Have a spirit of analysis and synthesis;
Have a critical mind;
The ability to work in a team ;
Ability to work under pressure;
