UPSILON Distance learning institute looking for services in Cameroon:
A Logistics Manager, position based in Douala.
MISSIONS AND TASKS
His main missions will be to:
Define and implement organizational plans for the supply chain of physical flows of goods; To design steering and management tools to trace the routing of products and their distribution between the various departments of the company with the aim of rationalization and optimization.
The tasks will consist of:
• Controlling the stock inventory
• Managing the stocks;
• Deploy a supply flow management system;
• Develop the supply plan with suppliers (quantities to order and optimal delivery dates, etc.);
• Supervise the delivery of products;
• Reporting on its action, risks, delays or anomalies to the manager;
• Identify and select suppliers, subcontractors, service providers;
• Identify and anticipate supplier risks;
• Evaluate compliance with commitments made by suppliers and carriers (deadlines, price, quality, etc.) and alert the purchasing department in the event of difficulty;
• Control the performance of a service;
• Ensure the maintenance of equipment.
REQUIRED PROFILE
• BTS or license in Logistics or other related training
• Minimum 02 years’ experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of logistics processes and procedures
• Quality control skills
• Building skills
• Having a B license would be an asset
