Cleaners/cleaners

Duration of the contract:  According to financing

Location:  The entire extent of Cameroonian territory: The candidate will specify in his cover letter three (03) regions in order of preference

Brief job description

He/She is responsible for housekeeping and cleaning of surfaces outside and inside the office.

Main powers

• Clean the office (sweep and wash the floor), dust and clean the furniture, appliances and equipment in the office; clean the windows, the refrigerator;

• Doing the dishes and washing the curtains, etc.;

• Empty baskets, garbage cans; clean and disinfect them;

• Keep the toilets clean, disinfected and stocked with the necessary consumables (soap, toilet paper, deodorant); • Clean the yard and the office surroundings;

• Prepare and serve tea, coffee and other snacks as needed;

• Manage small office errands;

• Accomplish any other task entrusted to him/her by the hierarchy and compatible with DEDI’s mission and vision.

Profile required

Training:  Any relevant training;

Diplomas:  At least have a CEP level;

Experience:  Have at least 1 year of similar experience (preferably in an NGO);

Other aptitudes and/or skills:  Fluent in French and/or English (preferably bilingual), discreet, polite, in good physical condition, rigorous in respecting hygiene rules, culinary skills
