RECRUITMENT NOTICE
Context
Cameroon is a beneficiary of grant GC 7 from the Global Fund: “Accelerating the prevention of new infections among key populations to reduce the rate of morbidity and mortality linked to HIV by 2026”.   
Care and Health Program (CHP) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) created in 1996 and based in Cameroon. For over 27 years, CHP has been involved in the field of prevention-related activities including STI/HIV/AIDS research, PMTCT, family planning activities, research, and community awareness raising. on pandemics, endemics, the fight against vandalism, drug consumption; this not only in Cameroon but also in Central and West Africa.

 




 

Position title: Management controller (1)

Duration: 33 months
Number: 01
Location: Yaoundé
Contract: Fixed-term contract: 03 months trial – Extension after evaluation.
Under the authority of the Administrative and Financial Director, the Management Controller will have to perform the following tasks:
Functions and responsibilities:
-Participate in the preparation of forecast accounts;
-Design management tools;
-Monitor and control the various expenditure procedures, in particular the entries/exits of the cash registers for operations related to operations;
-Implement and improve procedures for managing and optimizing financial information flows;
-Collect, analyze and synthesize budgetary data from operational departments;
-Contribute to building the capacity of regional office managers on compliance with procedures;
-Carry out reconciliations between the accounting statements and the results from the reporting;
-Participate in carrying out the closing work;
-Validate the monthly financial statements;
-Ensure that budget lines are consumed in accordance with the forecast budget;
-Check the conformity of accounting documents for preparation for external audits;
-Check the conformity of the OBCs’ reports
-Ensure the conformity of the bundles of supporting documents with the procedures of the Organization and those of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

 

 

Job profile:  
-Hold a Master’s degree in Management / Accounting / Finance or an equivalent diploma;
-Have at least three years of professional experience in the financial management of projects financed by international donors;
-In-depth knowledge of Cameroonian regulations and international donors regarding public procurement;
-Excellent writing skills (activity reports, financial reports);
-Mastery of French and English languages;
-Have a good knowledge of IT tools: MS-Word, Excel, Internet etc…
-Proficiency in TOM2PRO, SAGE 100 PAIE, SAGE ERPX3 software would be an asset;
-Experience with Global Fund financial management rules and procedures is an asset.
Skills and Abilities: Interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team. The candidate must be able to plan, implement, monitor and advocate for programs and beneficiaries. Must have strong time management skills and be able to prioritize and execute multiple activities simultaneously.
