Notice of call for applications N°0021/DPO/DH of August 16, 2023 for the
recruitment of volunteer staff from the clothing brand HANDI CHIC.
The Community Based Organization KAMITIK AFRICA as part of the development of its clothing brand “HANDI CHIC” created by the Disabled, is recruiting volunteer staff for a short term, capable of becoming employed in the medium / long term as part of the operationalization of the Small and Medium Enterprises incubator and accelerator project called CAMTEX LAB “Cameroon Textile Laboratory” in the textile cotton value chain, an initiative of the proCOTON project of the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit “GIZ” whose Cameroon is a beneficiary and we were selected during a selection held on February 18 and 19 among the ten best incubated for this first vintage. Faced with this new challenge, an additional need for volunteer staff is presented for a positive expansion of the HANDI CHIC brand in order to further demonstrate the know-how of this vulnerable layer within an inclusive society in the Littoral Region and more specifically the Department of Wouri. To this end, we are recruiting:
MARKETIN AND COMMUNICATION MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
The RMC position enhances the work carried out within the production department to then set the strategic communication guidelines for the HC brand in terms of image, visibility, message… The RMC will be called to define the global communication and marketing strategy of the HC brand. He/she must play an advisory role in his/her field to the General Administrator. To this end, he/she collects strategic information related to the development of HC from the Administration. Its agenda includes, among other things:
– Identify and value the work carried out within the production department to then set the strategic directions for communication and annual marketing and implement a media, editorial and visual strategy for the company.
– Coordinate the conduct of communication campaigns, advice, validate and monitor the consistency of the company’s image on all actions (print communication, web, public relations, internal communication, etc.).
– Write internal communication media (reports, minutes, notes, etc.).
– Impulse digital actions to increase the visibility of the brand by developing innovative communication tools and the overall communication strategy.
ASSIGNMENTS
– Carry out marketing studies and market studies;
– Develop action proposals;
– Manage marketing and communication operations by basing them on viable data, the fruit of the analyzes carried out;
– Develop and propose a brand strategy;
– Manage product ranges by adapting to market developments;
– Analyze and implement internal and external communications policies;
– Design a digital communication strategy;
– Ensure the promotion of the brand through social networks by increasing traffic on web pages;
– Boost our various publication pages;
– Propose the content of the website;
– Perform the implementation and monitoring of operations under the coordination of the General Administration;
– Prepare all communication content;
– Negotiate the media passages of the brand’s staff…
QUALITIES
A. Carry out market studies on behalf of the client and propose an appropriate strategy;
– Analyze the problem;
– Identify the axes and levers of optimization according to the problem;
– Propose online marketing actions;
– Determine costs;
B. Design and implement internal communication actions
– Analyze internal communication issues;
– Identify the expected impacts;
– Identify the actors to federate;
– Propose a communication action plan;
C. Carry out market research on behalf of the client account and
propose a brand strategy
– Carry out research, collect and select relevant information and data on the market;
– Carry out qualitative studies and quantitative/representative surveys;
– Analyze, compare and interpret study results;
– Write market research conclusions;
– Present the risks, threats, strengths and opportunities of a new product, an innovation or a new concept;
– From the walking study, set up a strategy (creation, action plan, budget, communication).
D. Manage a range of products and set up an internal communication strategy
– Carry out competitive intelligence;
– Collect relevant information to assess the profitability of products;
– Carry out a study on the expectations of the target group concerned;
– Design the actions to be taken to energize, expand or reposition a product range in terms of innovation;
– Present a communication campaign responding to the issue;

PROFILE
Hold a Bac + 2 minimum in communication/marketing or other equivalent diplomas;
Be between 23 – 35 years old;
Being of M/F sex;
Have a professional experience of at least three years;
Master the computer tool;
Be an open person with the ability to establish and develop contacts;
Be of good character and professional integrity.
DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED:
Letter of motivation addressed to the General Administrator of HANDI CHIC including the position applied for;
Updated curriculum vitae of no more than 3 pages with at least two reference contacts;
Photocopy of the highest diploma
Photocopy of the National Identity Card in addition to a National Disability Card for people with disabilities.
