(01) qualified candidate for its services to strengthen the team of the Logistics Department following the indications:

Position: A Mechanic
Position based in Yaoundé
Type of 12-month fixed-term contract (offer reserved exclusively for nationals of Cameroon) Starting date: As soon as possible

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Performs repairs on trucks independently. light vehicles, generators. motorcycles and other ICRC equipment. If necessary, performs welding and repair work on the air conditioning circuit. and small bodywork/painting work
• Checks the condition of the vehicle, generator before each maintenance operation and reports to the Vehicles Flet Manager all the defects noted
• Carries out vehicle maintenance. generators and other ICRC Equipment, in accordance with internal and/or manufacturer’s recommendations,
Is able to use repair catalogs and manuals (Books or
Is able to use diagnostic machines made available to him/her
Actively participates in the management of stocks of the workshop and its stores If necessary
Participates in the supply of fuel and cleaning of vehicles if necessary
Ensures compliance with technical and personal safety standards in the context of his work
Ensures that all service forms and compensation are duly completed and transmitted for the acts carried out;

Is responsible for the Tools and other goods entrusted to him by the ICRC,
• Performs maintenance and repair operations in accordance with the technical instructions and ensures the cleanliness of the vehicles/generators before the operations
• Ensures the cleanliness of the garage and Tools after each:
• Ensures efficient use of garage tools and makes quarterly inventory by submitting the report to the VehEes Fleet Manager.

KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
Diploma of professional technical studies in automobile mechanics
Very good knowledge of mechanics (diesel engine), air conditioning, and automobile electricity Good mastery of the use of diagnostic devices:
Four years of experience in a similar field
Knowledge of all-terrain vehicles and HF / VHF radios
Good command of French and a knowledge of English;
Driving license category B. (A. C and O are assets),

Knowledge of computer tools
Be able to work under pressure and independently Good initiative and sense of responsibility: Endowed with the following skills: teamwork, adaptation and synthesis, responsibility and autonomy.
