Recruitment notice: Mechanical Engineer at CMC CAMEROON MINING COMPANY SARL

Cameroon Mining Company is a leading iron ore producer in Africa. We are looking for a qualified and experienced mechanical engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, building, and testing mechanical and thermal devices and systems for our mining operations.

 

•  Designing and developing mechanical devices and systems, such as industrial machinery, heating and cooling systems, transportation systems, and robotics equipment

 

•  Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs and performance

 

 

 

•  Creating plans and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) technology

 

•  Estimating budgets and time scopes for each project

 

•  Writing technical documentation and reports

 

•  Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations and standards

 

•  Collaborating with other engineers and managers to plan and optimize mining operations

 

 

 

•  Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field

 

•  Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, preferably in the mining industry

 

•  Experience working in a mine and handling mining equipment

 

•  Proficient in CAD, CAM, and Matlab/LabView programs

 

•  Ability to run simulations and analyze test data

 

•  Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation

 

•  Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
