Responsibilities : The Nurse is responsible for: Contributing to the popularization of voluntary screening advice for beneficiaries of the
Center; Ensure referral to the Center’s hospital or health services, laboratories and partner pharmacies; Make home visits to patients in the cohort Search for STIs in patients document and produce a weekly report Update the register of beneficiaries Participate in the management of stocks of screening equipment, medical equipment and medications available at the Center; Produce periodic reports of activities relating to screening, care and treatment, home visits, patient liaison addressed to the Medical Coordinator, Participate in the development of the Alcondoms Cameroon medical program; Intervene in any activity where your skills are necessary. He works under the direct responsibility of the Medical Coordinator to whom he reports and who evaluates him. - Required qualities: • Adherence to the values of Alconcoms Cameroun;
A state-certified nursing diploma; Training in HIV care in Sub-Saharan Africa; A minimum of two years’ experience in HIV or sexual health programs; experience working with sex workers; Knowledge of global policies in the area of HIV and sexual health; priority; A good understanding of the social, legal and health concerns of sex workers; An ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously; Oral and written communication skills; An ability to communicate fluently in French: preferably in English too; Computer knowledge; Skills in interpersonal management.
