PBX Telephone Systems Technician –

 

Job Description

 

Reporting to the General Manager, your main mission is to install Panasonic, ALCATEL, MITEL and PABX telephone equipment in hotels and professional structures.

 

 

 

Your tasks:

• Install and commission PABX telephone exchanges and wifi, computer and telecommunications network systems by following the procedures established in the specifications (connection of all telephone devices with the external network, installation of software, etc.) 

• Help and advise users during the commissioning of systems

• Carry out preventive maintenance, update equipment, help develop the network as needed

• Intervene in the event of a breakdown, diagnose and resolve malfunctions

• Order hardware, cables or devices as part of a system repair or renewal

• Provide technical support during a commercial approach

 

 

 

Required profile

• You master transmission or switching techniques (line connection)

• You know and know how to use computer languages ​​and operating systems

• You are vigilant about security issues (antivirus, backup, etc.),

• Reactive, autonomous and able to quickly analyze a situation, you also know how to listen and teach. In a field where technologies are constantly evolving, your curiosity and your open-mindedness are essential to remain operational.
