PHARMACIST – PROVISIONER MEDICAL MISSION M/F

 

Base of attachment: Yaoundé with travel to the geographical areas of the programs of the Cameroon missions

Number of positions: 01

Contract duration: 12 months

Start date:                            January 2023

Supervised by: Head of Logistics Department

Gross salary for the category: According to the Action Against Hunger grid

 

 

 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB : Ensure the management of purchases, supplies and stocks of drugs on the mission.

 

IN PARTICULAR, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES : 

 

Mission 1: Participate in the management of international medical supplies on the mission

 

Mission 2: Manage stock inflows and outflows

 

Mission 3: Participate in the management of medical purchases on the mission

 

Mission 4: Maintain the physical integrity of the Central Pharmacy (decentralized stock)

 

Mission 5: Assignment referent for MED storage practices (sizing, organization, tools & method)

 

Mission 6: Support for proposal writing and donor reporting

 

Mission 7: Specific missions:

 

 

 

DIPLOMAS/LEVEL OF STUDY/EXPERIENCE :

 

–        State diploma in pharmacy;

–        Significant professional experience in the organization and management of a pharmacy;

–        Experience in NGOs is a plus;

–        Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS :

 

–        Ability to assess needs and supply drugs to health facilities;

–        Good understanding of the functioning of the national and regional supply chain;

–        Competence in training and capacity building through individual or collective training;

–        Team management;

–        Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook essential.

 

 

 

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE

The Action Against Hunger recruitment procedure includes 3 key steps:

1.  A pre-selection based on the file submitted (only candidates whose skills and experience correspond to the profile described in the offer are selected for the written test)
2.  A written technical test
3.  An oral interview
