Recruitment notice: PRODUCTION MANAGER

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

GOLF OF GUINEA ENGINEERING limited liability company created in 2012, specializing in Civil Engineering and Metal Construction, is looking for candidates for the position of PRODUCTION MANAGER for the needs of its services in the city of Douala .

Job content

• Plan manufacturing work in workshops;
• Establish the methodology for carrying out the work entrusted to both workshops and construction sites;
• Monitor manufacturing work in workshops and sites assigned by project engineers;
• Study the manufacturing plans and check compliance with the work carried out;
• Maintain and organize workshops and resources (equipment, personnel);
• Monitor quality control of raw materials/consumables;
• Supervise quality control and HSE in workshops;

 

 

• Coordinate and manage production staff and site managers;
• Organize and distribute tasks according to the trades and the construction schedule of the site;
• Evaluate the skills of the staff under his responsibility and define training needs;
• Monitor production in relation to forecasts and project emergencies;
• Ensure the proper use of the equipment used by his team;
• Guarantee the safety of men and machines, compliance with current regulations and execution times;
• Ensure communication with superiors to keep them informed of the progress of the work;
• Participate in the production of quantitative estimates for projects;
• Participate in the development of budgets for carrying out work;
• Carry out daily reports of work carried out in workshops and on construction sites.

 

 

Profile/key skills

• Hold a degree in mechanical engineering;
• Additional training in QHSE would be an asset;
• Have at least 3 years of relevant continuous work experience in a similar position;
• Have an excellent working knowledge of MS office;
• Have excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD;
• Know how to read and analyze plans;
• Know the regulations regarding health, safety and quality procedures;
• Have good communication and analysis skills;
• Have an orientation towards achieving results and an ability to work independently.
