Recruitment notice: Professional housekeeper and cook (resident). The Ambassador of Brazil to the Republic of Cameroon

The Ambassador of Brazil to the Republic of Cameroon informs that, in accordance with the provisions of decree 1570 of July 21, 1995 and the decree of September 12, 1995 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, the process of selecting an auxiliary support for the position of Housekeeper and Professional Cook at the Ambassador’s Residence, according to the terms below: The position is open to anyone of Cameroonian nationality or other nationalities with a valid work permit.

 

 

 

Main missions and skills:

Housewife and professional cook (resident) at the Residence of the Ambassador of Brazil in Cameroon. The position is part of the Residence team, ensuring the daily maintenance of the Residence. The housekeeper / professional cook must provide services to the Residence (General laundry and/or kitchen supervision).

Requirements:

Proof of legal residency status;

Electoral map;

Legal authorization to carry out a remunerated activity in the country, for Brazilians or third-country nationals;

Oral and written knowledge of French, English and/or Portuguese languages;

If Brazilian, proof of conclusion of military service (for men) and electoral obligations;

At least two years of experience in a housekeeper / cook position;

Must be medically fit.

2. CV with recent photo (six months max.)
3. Letters of recommendation

General provisions

The work schedule is 09h per day, Monday to Friday and 5h on Saturday. The employee may be called upon on other occasions and therefore must show great flexibility.

The selection process will consist of two phases: First phase – interview with the Head of Administration / Second phase – interview with the Ambassador
