Work location: Yaoundé with field travel Remuneration: According to the MSF Switzerland salary scale
Main objective
Define coordinate and control supply chain activities in accordance with MSF protocols, standards and procedures with the objective of ensuring the optimal functioning of the project.
Primary Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Supply Chain Coordinator, plan, determine and verify procurement activities, including budget, in order to identify and optimize response to the needs of the mission and targeted population,
Control and ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the following procurement activities: order processing, local purchasing management, physical (warehousing) and administrative (movement) management of stock, freight management, procurement administration and set-up standard supply tools (UNIIFIELD Focal Point)
Relevantly ensure the availability of management data to stock owners, project coordination, coordination in the capital (expired medicines, risks of shortages, stock reports, delivery times, pipeline, etc.);
Participate in the monthly report as directed;
Under the supervision of DCSC, participate in the development of the Supply strategy for the mission.
Plan and supervise the daily activities of the Supply Coordination team.
Organize the work plan and priorities for the week.
Develop the leave schedule for the Supply Coordination team.
Use MSF supply chain management tools effectively and efficiently (Unifieid, International Orders Portal, reporting tools).
Required Skills
Essential Diploma and Specialization in Logistics / Supply Chain;
Minimum two years of experience in Supply Chain;
Previous experience desired with MSF or another NGO in developing countries
Mastery of IT tools
Mastery of spoken and written French
Knowledge of English is an asset
Required qualities
Adherence to MSF principles, flexibility of behavior, results and sense of quality, teamwork and cooperation, ability to work with people from a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, open-mindedness, good communication skills, good listening skills.
