The ARCHIPEL CM training firm is urgently looking for a partner company RESPONSIBLE  FOR PURCHASING AND LOGISTICS.

REQUIRED PROFILE :

» Level of experience: Experienced

» Years of experience: Between 5 and 8 years

» Minimum Academic Level: Masters

» Experience required: minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, commerce or management

» Academic training: Bac+5 in the field of logistics and transport, commerce or management

 DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

You will perform the following tasks:

Definition of the company’s purchasing strategy and policy:

• Collaborate with management to take into account all strategic objectives and the various associated development projects

• Collect & analyze the needs of the different departments on issues affecting purchasing

• Provide economic intelligence on market developments

• Define a purchasing strategy for the company setting out all the means and objectives to be achieved

Negotiation of strategic files

• Intervene in strategic negotiations for the company

• Negotiate directly with service providers/suppliers in setting up framework agreements

• Manage contracts based on supplier performance, market developments and business needs

Purchasing project management and management

• Implement procedures, methodologies and tools to improve the general performance of the department

• Ensure communication and liaison with all group entities in order to promote the integration of purchasing projects.

Monitoring of suppliers and the company’s purchasing performance

• Ensure the optimization of purchasing sourcing through a permanent audit of the supplier panel

• Set up performance monitoring indicators

• Monitor the proper integration of service providers and suppliers upstream and downstream of the company’s production processes

• Ensure the proper fulfillment of the contractual conditions negotiated and arbitrate any disputes

• Track purchasing costs and budget

• Ensure reporting to the general management of the company

Activities related to Logistics

• Manage supplies in conjunction with the various production interlocutors and thus manage the flow management process from A to Z

• Manage fleet logistics.

SKILLS:

• Have good negotiating skills, to obtain the best prices from suppliers

• Have good interpersonal skills and diplomacy, because it is regularly necessary to reach an agreement with the various departments of the company on the choice of suppliers (quality, purchasing, marketing, logistics, research and development, etc.)

• Have a good ability to listen to take into account the point of view of each of the internal collaborators

• Have an analytical capacity, in order to understand the functioning of the production chain, to study the achievements of the supplier and to isolate the areas of intervention

• Have a sense of rigor and organization to manage the supplier portfolio • Have great objectivity to impartially assess potential suppliers and possibly change them

• Have a good organization and rigor

• Be curious and have the spirit of initiative

• Have a good ability to work under pressure

• Good managerial capacity.

Technical skills

• Good understanding of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business and management principles

• Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software

• Ability to manage, coach and train direct reports

• Have rigor in calculations, orders and follow-ups

• Knowledge of purchasing legislation

• Master one or more foreign languages

• Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English

 

 Salary: From 175,000 FCFA

Hours: Full time
