Recruitment Notice: Purchasing Manager

The Cameroon Cereals Company, a subsidiary of the KADJI group specializing in the production of cereal-based flour, is looking for a Purchasing Manager as part of its activities.

Age: Minimum 30 years old
Type of job: Permanent
Required diploma: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or in accounting and finance or any diploma in the field
Required experience: 05 years minimum.

Qualifications required: Training, certifications or additional experience

Languages: French & English

Main mission of the position:

The Purchasing Manager, must design and apply the company’s procurement strategy, is responsible for all tasks that involve the action of purchasing. Also, he or she ensures the coordination and supervision of the service.

Activities:

Define the company’s local and foreign supply policy
Negotiate with suppliers: draw up specifications, prepare purchasing arguments, negotiate prices and conditions and draw up a contract.
Research local and overseas vendors
Negotiate contract terms of agreements and pricing
Maintain record of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare job reports including cost analyzes
Monitor inventory levels and place necessary orders
Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay current with industry trends
Review quality of purchased products
Track orders and ensure fast delivery
