Recruitment notice: PYLON ASSEMBLY PROJECT MANAGER

RECRUITMENT

The ARNO Group is recruiting for its subsidiary ARNO TECHNOLOGIES: 01 Pylon Assembly Project Manager (M/F).

Job location: Yaoundé

Nature of the contract: CDD of 06 months possibly renewable

ASSIGNMENTS

The  Pylon Erection Project Manager  (M/F)  declines the operational strategy of the project for which he/she is recruited. He is responsible for all operations involved in his project (project studies, equipment orders, execution of work, etc.). He/she must manage all the activities and technical resources of his/her project.

ACTIVITIES

Studies of the project on a technical level

• Plan the different stages of the project.
• Study the technical feasibility of the different stages of the project.
• Produce a compliant project execution file integrating all the calculation notes.
• Study the improvements and adaptations of one or more project sites in order to optimize the work in terms of cost, quality and deadlines.
• Set operational objectives in terms of tasks performed per day, quality and compliance with deadlines, for production sites (or workshops depending on the structure).
• Participate strongly in the various orders of equipment related to the project by the company by exercising an advisory role.

Establishment of the means necessary for the realization of the project

• Participate in the selection of all the technicians of his project team and validate in particular their technical adequacy in relation to the objectives of the company.
• Direct and coordinate on the different project sites the technical activities of the different teams in conjunction with the operations manager
• Precisely define expectations in terms of equipment purchases according to cost and quality criteria in conjunction with the account manager and the supply chain department.
• Participate in the selection of the main suppliers and subcontractors of the company and validate in particular the technical adequacy of their products in relation to the objectives of the company.
• Be a force of proposal with its management concerning new technical solutions,
• Be the guarantor of the technical feasibility of the project initiated after studies.
• Be the guarantor of the performance, reliability and consistency of the project teams deployed on the various project sites,

Supervision and organization of production teams and technical teams

• Carry out daily updates with the heads of the various project teams in conjunction with the operations manager in order to identify malfunctions and validate the achievement of objectives.
• Ensure coordination of actions between project teams.
• Solve human and/or material problems: absenteeism, supply regulation, planning adjustments, etc.
• Ensure the implementation and proper application of quality, health and safety regulations in the project.
• Evaluate project needs on a daily basis in order to anticipate project resources.

PROFILE

Level of studies  : BAC+5 (civil engineering or telecommunications).

Experience  : (10) ten years of experience in telecommunication tower construction projects.

Spoken/written language  : English and French.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Monitoring and control of telecommunications infrastructure networks.

REFERENCES

• At least 3 major projects (for each project, provide a certificate of participation in the realization of the project, or any other document attesting to the participation in the realization of the project).
