The African Management Services Company (AMSCO) is looking for as part of its activities 01 Sales & Distribution District Leader

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

a. Optimization and efficiency of the routings of the sales teams and limitation of the Portfolio At Risk
b. Management and revitalization of Field Commercial Operations.
vs. Performance Reporting and Analysis

Hierarchical organization:

He/She is placed under the functional and hierarchical responsibility of the Head Of Commercial
He/She has hierarchical and functional responsibility for the sales teams deployed in his Zone. That is at least 4 to 5 BTE and a network of Master Brand Ambassador and Brand Ambassador in addition to this he is at the head of the network of shops in his district.
Missions and Activities
He/She is responsible for managing the sales teams and the network of UpOwa stores deployed in his/her region. He/She is responsible for:

 

 

 

A- Optimization and efficiency of the routings of the commercial teams

Organize with his field team, the effective weekly schedules of deployment in the field;
Organize a monthly Operations and Performance Review Meeting with the BTE and MBA;
Manage the Stocks of the Sales teams in his Area in connection with the Supply Chain and in terms of: Planning of needs, Expression of Requests, Collections, Shipping, Transport, Reception, Transfers, Deliveries, Storage, Securing and Monitoring of In-and Movements -out of Stocks, opening of new points. . .
Propose, set up and animate the sales challenges of its Commercial distribution network
Ensure that the brand Territory Evangelist, the Master Brand Ambassador’s, the managers of stores and relay points master the tools and operational processes of sales and reporting of the Company as well as the resources for which they are responsible;
Ensure that each part of its distribution network has the working tools necessary for the effective performance of their missions.
Identify and report the recruitment and training needs of the sales teams with the N+1
Manage the administrative aspects related to the sales teams: Recruitment, Training, Incorporation, Discipline, Sanctions, Promotions, etc.) with the Human Capital
Manage and organize the administrative and technical monitoring of the fleet of rolling stock (Pick-up, Motorcycles, etc.) of its Commercial Zone with its N+1

 

 

 

Organize periodic operational mini-meetings with the Brand territory Evangelist, and all the Sales Forces of its Sector: Master Brand Ambassadors, Brand Ambassadors, sponsors, Own upowa store, identify and develop different sales channels that can allow better marketing of upOwa products in its Zone.
B- Management and revitalization of Field Commercial Operations.

Go daily to the field to coach, develop skills and support the commercial teams but also to understand the environment, the challenges and the issues of commercial operations.
Manage aspects of commercial animation in the field in collaboration with the Marketing Officer and his N+1: coaching, field support, qualitative and quantitative monitoring of activities, Public Relations, . . .
Solve the daily customer problems encountered by the sales teams in the field and support their team on a daily basis in their prospecting and sales activities
Identify the operational difficulties of the sales teams in the field and proactively provide appropriate solutions.
Organize and monitor the integration of new recruits with Brand Territory Evangelist (BTE) and Master Brand Ambassador’ (MBA) and ensure mastery of the knowledge acquired during training
Research and Identify new territories with business opportunities in its Zone

Actively contribute to the development of the portfolio of Brand Ambassadors and sponsors;
Organize BA recruitment caravans in the company of BTEs and MBAs
Identification, analysis of opportunities with commercial added value and proposal of consequent actions.
Identify opportunities and organize events in each Territory of its area in connection with the BTE and MBA;
Responsible for the implementation and performance of all marketing and sales campaigns in his Area
Operational leader of all Joint Projects with other Poles in his Area of ​​expertise.
Identification of important events (cultural, traditional, family, political, commercial, social, school, etc.) in its Zone and planning of animation actions at these events
Maintain the best quality of the client portfolio,
C-Reporting and Performance Analysis

Develop and propose operational reporting tools and channels by e-mail, WhatsApp or on Paper for him and his team
Produce a Weekly and monthly report from his area to his N+1
Produce and Publish a weekly and monthly report of commercial performance to transmit to its N+1, on the various communication channels and previously defined formats.
Proactively report to its N+1 all the information concerning the operations of the sales representatives in the field: difficulties, opportunities, needs. . . etc
Analyze commercial performance, field feedback from BTEs and MBAs to improve commercial performance
Identify, propose and value opportunities for improving the efficiency of commercial operations
Produce and publish a report for all work assignments carried out by himself and his teams.
Monitor and drive the progress of the main commercial KPIs in his Zone: Sales, PAR, Synchronization, Recovery. . . etc
Report information related to the calculation of Brand Ambassador bonuses for the prompt and efficient management of their bonus.
D- Budget Management

Supervise the optimal management of representation costs made available to the various teams in his area (SL and commercial)
Manage and/or monitor the recovery of accounting documents to be transmitted to the Assistants in the management of operational affairs
Make a weekly analysis expenses related to the performance of its area with its N+1 and propose budget optimization solutions
Required Profile

Level Bac + 03 (Commerce, Management, Finance, Communication, Marketing …)
05 to 10 years of minimum experience in management operations and/or sales teams
Autonomy, rigour, spirit of analysis and strength of proposal
Excellent interpersonal skills and very good listening skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Mastery of office tools (Office Suite, Google Sheets . . . etc.) and Social Networks (WhatsApp…)
Dynamic and very mobile. Be willing to travel (over 80% of field work time)
Good with numbers and results oriented.
Ability to analyze data collected from the field
Sociability, affability, empathy, taste for risk and spirit of initiative. . .
Good leadership and strong managerial skills: able to develop the professional capacities of its employees and to organize and effectively conduct field operations.
Base and Location

This position is based in our Commercial Area Headquarters in Cameroon
