CANAL+ International is looking through its subsidiary for its subsidiary CANAL+ AFRIQUE 01 Sales Director
Location: Douala, CM

 

 




 

Attached to the General Management of the local subsidiary and in charge of commercial development the Director of Sales determines in collaboration with General Management, the strategic orientations, the objectives to be achieved and the means to be put in place, after analysis and evaluation of the various components of the market to develop the recruitment of subscribers on the offers of the local subsidiary.

 

 




 

MISSIONS

Achieve annual subscription sales volume targets;
Set up action plans according to the managed portfolio (brands, distributor network, local authorities, telecom operators/ISP, etc.) to achieve volumes. Observe and analyze competitive offers and propose ad hoc actions;
Manage the B to C and B to B teams;
Develop the structures of our partners, Canal+ approved service providers with the objective of increasing the subscriber base (these service providers market the equipment needed to receive Canal+ and CanalSat offers and subscriptions to the said bouquet);
Carry out the store deployment plan: from the identification of locations to the opening;

Manage a sales force (15-20 people). Establish training programs in order to develop the teams in their various missions;
Participate in the animation of conventions and seminars and set up stimulation operations (for the distribution network for example) and the sales force;
Guarantee that the network itself is exemplary (merchandising, customer relations, achievement of objectives, etc.);
Organize and lead the quarterly Commercial Action Plan
Training, professional experience and skills required:

 

 

 

Level of higher education such as business school or commercial and/or marketing university education.
8 to 10 years of experience in the distribution of subscription products or products with a technological component.
Knowledge of sub-Saharan Africa
Strong sense of business and operational expectations Fluent
in English
Expected behaviors:
