At CGS, we are counting on the dynamism of our sales team to reach customers in the central region and particularly in the Yaoundé area for a start, in the field of agro-food. We are looking for a qualified Sales Manager to manage this critical service, leveraging both their own skills and the resources of a team of motivated Sales Representatives. Our ideal sales manager has in-depth knowledge and experience of the sales process. He/She excels at finding leads, building relationships and gaining market share. We are looking for an ambitious individual with strong negotiation skills, whose experience and success will inspire the entire team.
Job Objectives
• Represent our business, with in-depth knowledge of our products
• Investigate consumer needs and find out how our products meet them
• Build, train, motivate and advise a sales team
• Achieve company goals through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data and predicting future performance.
• Continuously hone personal leadership, recruiting and training skills, while ensuring the team uses effective sales tactics to achieve revenue goals
• Generate opportunities, build and maintain customer relationships
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
• Create and execute a strategic sales plan that will expand our customer base and reach in the region.
• Meet prospects and develop lasting relationships by identifying their needs.
• Track, analyze and communicate key metrics and market trends
• Recruit salespeople, set goals, train and coach sales reps, and monitor their performance ensuring they are up to the tasks and responsibilities assigned to them are affected
• Identify team gaps and develop a plan to address them
• Supervise the sales team to ensure quotas and company standards are met by conducting daily meetings to set goals for the day and regularly monitor progress
• Manage month-end close processes and end of year
Skills and qualifications
• profile sought Bac +3 in communication and public relations, Commercial action or marketing or sales and negotiation, more than 3 years of experience in sales management within a company
• Professional background verifiable regarding the sales cycle, from planning to closing
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Be prepared to travel at least 10% of the time
Desirable qualifications
• Experience in motivational speeches
• Verifiable success rate and above quotas
