PROJECT SUMMARY
The National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon (CENC) is the institution that brings together all the Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church in Cameroon. She is a public juridical person whose mission is to continue to bear witness to the love of Christ to all men so that they may have life in abundance (cf. Jn 10:10). To achieve its objectives in Cameroon, the CENC has within it the Catholic Health Organization in Cameroon (OCASC). Its mission is to promote the health of man in the love of Christ, and especially of the poorest. It also ensures the health of populations and supports communities, in particular the most disadvantaged, for the promotion of life. It guarantees populations access to quality medicines via its OCASC network.

 

 

Main tasks and responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Pharmacist, the Secretary of the Medicines Unit will be responsible for:
1 . Customer/user management
Reception of customers/users;
Orientation of customers/users.
2. Processing of orders and follow-up of payments
Recording of orders;
Entering invoices under the supervision of the Pharmacist; Monitoring the payment of invoices to customers;

Documentary research to support the secondary cashier or accountant.
3. Inventory of National Office drug stock
Participation in the National Office stock inventory;
Keeping a register of stock movements of the drug unit.
4. Monitoring support. carrying out training and archiving of related files
Preparation of training sessions;
Support to the accountant in the constitution of the related expenditure files.
5. Reproduction, distribution and filing of documents
Entry, formatting and filing of documents;
Reception, registration, distribution and follow-up of correspondence;
Maintaining the archives of the medicine unit;
Photocopying and filing of various documents.
6. Secondary fund management
Keeping bailout books in case of unavailability of the secondary cashier;
Holding and management of the secondary fund.

 

 

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Bacc+2 diploma in secretarial, management, a diploma in the field of health would be an asset;
Experience of at least 3 years in a similar position;
Experience working in a diocese would be an asset;
Experience in project management. Experience in a health project would be a plus;
Knowledge of the national Catholic health system would be an asset. Personal Skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills, Good planning and organizational skills;

JOB SUMMARY
The Secretary for drug unit will have the following duties;
Role and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Pharmacist, the Drug Unit Secretary will be responsible

for:

1 . Client/user management
• Reception of clients/users;

• Registration of orders;
• Invoice entry under the supervision of the Pharmacist;

5. Breeding. dissemination and filing of documents

6. Management of secondary_cash
• Maintenance of bailout books in case of unavailability of secondary cash book;

• HND/HPD degree in secretariat studies, management, a degree in the health field would be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
