1. Research and formulation interns
SOMAFO INDUSTRIE is a service company located in Douala-Cameroon which operates in the agri-food, cosmetics and electrical sectors. It provides its services in Cameroon and abroad with foreign partners. To expand our activities, we are recruiting interns in research and formulation in the food and cosmetics sector with the possibility of also working remotely. They will work for a period of 5 months and will have the possibility of landing a major employment contract at the end of their internship if their activities bring added value to the company
Missions
- Research and propose product formulations defined by management;
- Regularly document formulation techniques in order to innovate;
- Monitoring existing products on the market;
- Define manufacturing processes;
- Scientific, technological, competitive and regulatory monitoring of the market;
- Work in close collaboration with general management in order to do your job well;
- Write reports every weekend and send by Courier to the company email address.
Skills and requirements
- Have a minimum of Bac+3 in Agri-food, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, process engineering or any other equivalent specialty;
- Beginner experience;
- Be rigorous and available;
- Sense of communication;
- Mastery of formulation software.
Duration of internship: 5 months with the possibility of obtaining a contract between 150,000F and 350,000F if the candidate is profitable during their internship.

2. Recruitment of senior maintenance technicians
We were recruiting senior maintenance technicians in the electrical sector. SOMAFO INDUSTRIE is a service company located in Douala – Cameroon which operates in the agri-food, cosmetics and electrical sectors. It provides its services in Cameroon and abroad with foreign partners. They will have the opportunity to land a major employment contract at the end of their internship if their activities bring added value to the company.
Missions
- Controls, monitors and regularly maintains our customers’ equipment;
- Diagnoses possible malfunctions on equipment;
- Organize preventive and curative maintenance interventions;
- Contribute to continuous improvement in the maintenance field;
- Propose solutions to optimize equipment security and performance to customers;
- Intervene in the event of a breakdown;
- Write reports every weekend and send by Courier to the company email address.
Skills and requirements
- Have a minimum of Bac+2 in Electricity, Electrotechnics, Mechanics, Physics, Industrial IT, or any other equivalent specialty;
- Minimum 2 years experience;
- Mastery of metrology and safety rules;
- Be able to supervise maintenance operations;
- Be able to read a technical plan or diagram;
- Be rigorous and available;
- Sense of communication;
- Mastery of design and maintenance management software.
