Job title: Account Manager for Small and Medium Enterprises

Main mission: Develop and manage the customer portfolio with a view to achieving assigned objectives.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Research, development and management of the SME sector client portfolio
Implement the commercial strategy in relation to the clients in its portfolio as well as the overall objectives of the DCE;
Prospect new customers and offer them the appropriate products;
Follow up with prospects;
Listen to customers and anticipate their needs;
Advise customers and offer products corresponding to their needs and expectations;
Interact with the bank’s internal entities to meet customer expectations with a view to their satisfaction and loyalty;
Develop the portfolio of clients and prospects in charge.
Participation in strategy and operations
Negotiate the conditions for implementing the solutions and products offered, and implement the decisions taken in terms of risks;
Structuring financial offers and commercial proposals in line with customer expectations, while respecting regulatory and internal bank constraints;
Structuring the commercial offer using internal skills and ensuring negotiation;
Actively participate in the synergy of business lines in order to obtain consensus on the decisions to be made and the actions to be carried out;
Contribute to risk management in collaboration with the Risk Management Department;
Participate in the definition of the risk policy and its implementation for clients;
Propose the portfolio budget in compliance with the bank’s commercial policy, and monitor the implementation of the validated budget;
Ensure competitive intelligence for the market segments of the portfolio;
Proceed to recover outstanding portfolio commitments;
Develop periodic activity reports and portfolio information.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
SKILLS REQUIRED
Minimum BAC+4 in banking and finance, commerce, marketing, ITB level II diploma, or any other related discipline;
Have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position;
Bilingualism (French – English) would be an asset.
Know
Good knowledge of the banking environment;
Good knowledge of the banking professions/products/services;
Good knowledge of banking regulations.
Know-how
Sales and commercial negotiation techniques;
Setting up service offers;
Creation of credit files;
Reporting methods;
Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint);
Operating Flexcube.
