AFRICA FOOD MANUFACTURE SA is  looking for  01 Stock Controller

 

Direction :  AUDIT AND INTERNAL CONTROL DEPARTMENT 

Number of positions  :  01 

Place of employment  :  DOUALA 

Contract  :  PERMANENT

JOB MISSIONS:

Attached to the Internal Controller, the Stock Controller’s mission is to:

    • Control within its scope of activities, all physical and theoretical receipts of goods purchased by the AFM factory, as well as products from other stores belonging to the Holding;
    • Control within its scope of activities, all physical and theoretical outputs of products delivered by the AFM factory to customers and other stores belonging to the Holding;

 




 

  • Control the documentary compliance of stock movements related to its scope of activities
  • Carry out and carry out consistency checks of items in stock;
  • Make a periodic report of its activities to its hierarchy and monitor the implementation of the related recommendations.

ACTIVITIES 

“Fuel” stock control 

  • Participate in the fuel acceptance committee;
  • Gauge the diesel on a daily basis;
  • Supervise fuel consumption at the pump;
  • Ensure compliance with procedures related to fuel management.

Inventory control of spare parts, consumables and general means

  • Check that all stock movements of spare parts and consumables are entered in the Gescom system;
  • Participate in the receipt of spare parts purchased from suppliers;
  • Participate in the reception of consumables and general resources purchased from suppliers;
  • Match the quantities ordered with those received;
  • Check the compliance and entry into GESCOM of all documents for the receipt of PDRs, consumables and general resources;
  • Ensure compliance with procedures related to the management of stocks of RDPs, consumables and general resources.

Finished goods inventory control 

  • Participate in the loading / delivery of finished products and goods to customers;
  • Participate in the loading / delivery of finished products and goods to other stores of the Holding;
  • Participate in the reception of finished products from other stores of the Holding;
  • Ensure every day that all customer deliveries have been invoiced;
  • Check the conformity of sales documents, transfer documents and reception documents;
  • Match the quantities ordered with those delivered;
  • Check compliance and entry into GESCOM of all customer delivery documents / transfers;
  • Ensure compliance with procedures related to inventory management of finished products

 

 




 

Raw material inventory control 

  • Participate in the receipt of stocks of raw materials from suppliers;
  • Match the quantities ordered with those received;
  • Check compliance and entry into GESCOM of all raw material receipt documents;
  • Ensure compliance with procedures related to raw material inventory management.

Other activites 

  • Participate in monthly and quarterly stock inventories;
  • Carry out unannounced inventories of items in stock;
  • Control the sale of waste;
  • Ensure that all customer delivery / stock transfers / supplier reception vehicles pass through the weighbridge and have a valid weigh ticket

Consistency and plausibility checks

  • Check the entry and compliance of all stock movements in GESCOM;
  • Match the quantities ordered with those received;
  • Carry out consistency checks / equation of stocks of moved items;
  • Identify discrepancies and notify the concerned / stakeholders for justification.

Periodic reporting to his hierarchy and follow-up of recommendations 

  • Transmit every day to his hierarchy, the control report of stock discrepancies and fuel consumption discrepancies;
  • Transmit to his hierarchy the reports on the consistency checks / inventory equation of the moved items;
  • Transmit to his hierarchy the reports on the reconciliations between the quantities ordered / delivered / transferred / received / invoiced;
  • Formulate to his hierarchy, the findings, causes and recommendations, following the various checks carried out;
  • Monitor the implementation of the recommendations made by those concerned / stakeholders

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED SKILLS

PROFILE 

  • Academic level: Master II in Audit, Finance, Management, Management Control
  • Have a professional experience of at least 02 years in a similar or related position, preferably in the private and agri-food sector
  • Maximum age: 40 years old

 

 



 

TECHNICAL SKILLS 

  • Mastery of the use of information systems: spreadsheets, databases, ERP, GESTCOM, Data Central, Word, Excel
  • Good accounting culture (which can be acquired in the company).
  • Competence in data analysis.
  • Good knowledge of the trades and the functioning of the company.
  • English essential

SKILLS AND ATTITUDES 

  • Relational ease to dialogue with different types of interlocutors storekeepers, accountants but also non-financial operational, to collect information.
  • Availability and strong working capacity.
  • Ability to organize and plan.
  • Ability to anticipate and react to economic developments that may have an impact on the company.
  • Adaptability to the regular evolution of technologies and standards.
  • Ability to synthesize to quickly conceptualize problems and their solutions.
  • Curiosity and critical thinking for the analysis of figures.
  • Be persuasive, know how to make your point of view heard in front of functional and operational managers.
