ACMS is looking for candidates to fill the position of Storekeeper as part of the implementation of its activities in the city of Douala.

What are we recruiting? 
The Storekeeper has the overall responsibility to perfectly ensure the management, organization of operations of the Douala Store, monitoring of product storage conditions, compliance with compliance, and optimal inventory management in compliance with internal standards. effectively to contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of ACMS. He/she will also have to ensure the overall management and maintenance of the store as well as related administrative tasks.

Essential functions:

  • Supervise Douala store operations (reception, storage, inventory management);
  • Implement and monitor compliance with the inventory management policy and procedure;
  • Ensure efficient and safe use of warehouse equipment;
  • Ensure the security of the store;
  • Monitor product storage conditions;
  • Monitor stock levels and report any needs to the hierarchy;
  • Monitor expiry dates;
  • Ensure the release of promotional products in compliance with required standards (FEFO, FIFO);
  • Manage all day-to-day office operations (reception and monitoring of correspondence, reception and monitoring of ENEO invoices, etc.);
  • Inform staff and other partners of ACMS procedures;
  • Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities;
  • Prepare and transmit monthly stock reports;
  • Observe the confidentiality of ACMS information.




 

Qualifications and skills required  :

  • Hold a BTS diploma in Logistics;
  • Have at least 03 years of experience in warehouse management;
  • Have an excellent understanding of inventory and warehouse management procedures;
  • Have in-depth knowledge of inventory and inventory controls;
  • Have mastery of Excel and inventory management software;
  • Having experience in inventory management of health products would be an asset;
  • Having experience working with NGOs or humanitarian organizations would be an asset.

What are we looking for?
The warehouse worker has overall responsibility for the management and organization of operations at the Douala Warehouse, monitoring product storage conditions, ensuring compliance, and optimizing inventory management in compliance with internal standards in an efficient manner to help achieve ACMS’s strategic objectives. He/she will also be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the warehouse, as well as related administrative tasks.

  • Ensure warehouse security;
