The Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC) is recruiting a Clinical Studies Monitor for service needs

Position: Clinical Studies Monitor.

Type of contract: Temporary
Location: Center Pasteur du Cameroun (CPC), General Directorate, Virology Department, Yaoundé.
Environment:

The Pasteur Center of Cameroon (CPC) is a public hospital establishment under Cameroonian law placed under the dual supervision of the Ministries of Public Health and Finance. A reference and public health laboratory, and member of the International Network of Pasteur Institutes (RIIP), the CPC has its headquarters in Yaoundé, an annex in Garoua and a branch in Douala. The CPC offers the following services: Medical Analysis, Water and Food Analysis, Vaccinations, Public Health, Research and Training. We are open 24 hours a day.
Mission & Main Activities
Mission: Ensure the inclusion of participants in the clinical sites of the NIH-ARBOCAM project
Main activities:
• Participate in the recruitment process of participants in the sites by ensuring proper compliance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria of patients;
• Ensure the completion of questionnaires and the signing of informed consents; • Ensure that the various samples are taken by site staff; e Ensure the delivery of samples to the laboratory and return the results to the sites.
Profile sought
• Training: Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, nursing option or any other equivalent diploma.
• Professional experience: at least 02 years in monitoring clinical studies.
 

Technical and behavioral skills required:
• Good knowledge of clinical study procedures;
• Mastery of office pack (MS WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint);
• Mastery of data collection techniques;
• Easy communication;
• Good interpersonal skills, rigorous and motivated, good capacity for initiative; Availability, Team spirit, analysis and synthesis.

The choice of the candidate will first include a selection based on the application file, then a written and/or practical test, and finally, an interview before a jury. Only pre-selected candidates will be invited.
