OPPORTUNITY

As part of this recruitment, the candidate will be called upon to Support the ongoing capacity building of stakeholders including NGOs through training, mentoring, peer learning and advice; Support the periodic updating of the situational analysis (job market analysis and social and societal analysis) in connection with the economic empowerment sub-project; Support stakeholders in the search for innovative and adapted strategies for the economic empowerment of young girls and women; Contribute to the quality assurance of documents developed within the framework of the sub-project,Support the strengthening of synergy with other community interventions of the project to create an environment conducive to the effective economic empowerment of young girls and women; Mapping private sector actors (society, businesses/potential employers) and supporting the engagement with the latter with a view to increasing economic opportunities for young girls and women participants/beneficiaries; Regularly analyze bottlenecks and propose relevant solutions to resolve the problems identified.potential companies/employers) and support engagement with them with a view to increasing economic opportunities for young girls and women participants/beneficiaries; Regularly analyze bottlenecks and propose relevant solutions to resolve problems identified.potential companies/employers) and support engagement with them with a view to increasing economic opportunities for young girls and women participants/beneficiaries; Regularly analyze bottlenecks and propose relevant solutions to resolve problems identified.

 

 

 

ABOUT YOU
Specialist in professional training, entrepreneurship, social sciences, etc.;
Hold a Master’s degree in the field already stated above;
Strong skills in the areas of women and youth economic empowerment
, vocational training and youth entrepreneurship
Good knowledge of financial inclusion
Excellent skills for teamwork, collaboration, facilitation and networking
Analytical, strategic thinking, research and negotiation skills
Ability to build effective relationships to influence
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking and problem solving skills
Proven computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task under competing deadlines, sometimes with limited resources
Skilled in participatory approaches that are used to good effect to map social norms, patterns of violence and identify risks and measures mitigation as part of their interventions.
Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to minimize risks for young people in all their diversity
Adult education skills and capacity building
Having worked on a women’s empowerment project including financial inclusion or related to entrepreneurship is an asset.
