Recruitment notice: TAX LISTENER
BEETLE HERITAGE HOLDING SA is currently looking for a (01) SENIOR TAX LISTENER for its headquarters based in Douala .
The SENIOR TAXIST attached to the Tax Department will have the main missions of:
– Exercise a real advisory and defense function on all tax aspects of the company;
– Ensure the security of the company by controlling all accounting, social and tax risks emanating from the daily management of the entire organization;
– Guarantee the maintenance and reliability of accounts in compliance with tax legislation.
Activities
Risk monitoring and prevention
– Analyze the tax aspects of the company’s activities;
– Identify the tax particularities of activities and their legal and accounting consequences;
– Permanently update the company’s legal and tax documentation;
– Follow Cameroonian tax news and legislative changes having consequences on the accounting and financial management of the company;
– Anticipate the management of tax risks through accounting and tax techniques and mechanisms in order to significantly prevent any occurrence of major risks of a customs, tax, social and parafiscal nature.
– Review tax declarations and contracts with tax implications.
Accounting treatments:
– Process sales entries based on pre-established sales supporting documents, and ensure their archiving;
– Process bank entries using bank documents received from the treasurer;
– Process payroll entries from payroll statements and DIPEs received from human resources;
– Process purchase entries from purchase invoices and withholding tax entries from withholding tax certificates all received from the supplier accountant;
– Process cash entries based on cash documents received from the cashier accountant;
– Process all other entries necessary to update the accounting base (miscellaneous operations and others).
Advice
– Respond effectively to tax issues raised in its sector through irrefutable means of defense;
– Effectively propose tax solutions for overall tax management and optimization.
Interface with tax, customs and social administrations
– Supervise tax, customs and social controls by ensuring the interface with the administrations concerned;
– Research and develop defense strategies and solutions negotiated or compromised during tax audits or disputes.
PROFILE
– Academic level: Bac + 5 in Accounting and Finance
– Professional experience: 05 years of experience in a similar position
TECHNICAL SKILLS
– Good knowledge of the accounting standards in force and taxation;
– Good knowledge of Cameroonian accounting and tax legislation;
– Mastery of IT tools and accounting software packages.
