EMPLOYMENT – RECRUITMENT: INTERNAL & EXTERNAL – ECOBANK CAMEROUN S.A.: ONE (01) Senior Card Operations

ECOBANK CAMEROUN S.A. is recruiting for the needs of its services, ONE (01) Senior Card Operations who can operate throughout the national territory.

This position is based in Douala. Job level: 4                                 Job grade: 3C

 

 




 

I. OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

    Carry out third party settlement operations VISA /MasterCard/GIMAC etc…
    Ensure the proper accounting outcome of acquisition transactions and payment by card and via digital platforms
    Reconcile accounts for electronic banking and digital products
    Help improve the quality of service of the bank
    Reduce or intercept acts of internal fraud
    Allow business continuity with cards by acting in time.
    Manage merchant operations in compliance with Group policies and standards
    Investigate, evaluate, resolve and monitor the complaints process related to issuance transactions and ‘acquire

II. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
    Carry out payments to third parties
    Carry out daily reconciliations of card accounts and digital products and proceed with the liquidation of suspended items    Perform all other tasks defined by the hierarchy.    Prepare pre-financing files on card operations to send to the Central Bank.     Ensure the production of regulatory reports related to this activity.    Provide statistical elements on all cards and digital products (creation; volume of transactions) .    Participate in the supervision of card activities.    Propose/initiate the review of procedures relating to the production of cards, digital products and management of complaints.    Check, follow up with the Sales line and respond to emails about suspicious transactions sent by the group;    Ensure the onboarding of digital product accounts on our reconciliation platforms.
    Prompt investigation and response to customer complaints.

IV. JOB PROFILE

Experience         At least 2 years’ experience in electronic banking.
    Good command of financial regulations and current banking services.

Education
        Higher education Bac + 4 preferably Management IT, Finance Accounting or other related disciplines.

Personal Qualities        Very good command of the tools Excellent
    Good analytical skills
 Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    Ability to work independently on set objectives
    Strong sense of a job well done.    Knowledge of risk management    Bilingual French/English would be an asset    Good command of the financial and banking services regulations in force.    Good understanding of the electronic banking regulations in forceV.
