Action Against Hunger (ACF) is an International, non-political, non-confessional and non-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). For our operations in Cameroon, we are looking for:

 

 

UN/E TECHNICIEN.NE PROCUREMENT M/F – INTERNAL/EXTERNAL

Base of attachment: Yaoundé

Number of positions: 01

Duration of the contract: until December 31, 2023.

Start date: February 15 2023

Supervised by: Logistics Officer

Location: Yaoundé (local position)

 

 

 

Gross salary for the category: According to the current salary scale of Action Contre la Faim

FIELD OF INTERVENTION:  Coordination based in Yaoundé

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Ensure all purchases processed in the capital for the bases as well as the negotiated procedures and calls for tenders managed by the coordination and having national coverage.

IN PARTICULAR, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mission 1: Order management/Purchasing

Mission 2: Manage supplier data

Mission 3: Monitor supplier payment

DIPLOMAS/LEVEL OF STUDY/EXPERIENCE:

– Bac + 2 in logistics , international trade or commercial action.

– Professional experience of at least 2 years in the same position or in a similar position would be appreciable.

– At least 1 year of field experience desirable

– Humanitarian experience would be an asset.

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

– Knowledge of the fundamentals of purchasing

– Knowledge of the fundamentals of stock management

– Fluency in French (read, written, spoken), fluency in English would be an asset

– Proficiency in IT tools and the Office Pack (Word and Excel)

– Ability to negotiate

– Ability to make decisions

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE

The Action Contre la Faim recruitment procedure includes 3 key stages:

1. A pre-selection based on the file submitted (only candidates whose skills and experience match the profile described in the offer are retained for the written test)

2. A written technical test

3. An oral interview
