CALL FOR EXTERNAL APPLICATIONS: USER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
In order to strengthen its workforce, the Information Systems Department of ACEP Cameroon SA is recruiting a User Support Technician.
Place of employment: General Management – Yaoundé/Bastos
Advise users on the use of new software;
Assist and process staff requests following malfunctions;
Record reported incidents or operating anomalies, pre-diagnose and process them according to the level of criticality and technicality;
Intervenes at the 1st level during computer incidents by soliciting the necessary resources (internal or external);
Escalate incidents to the hierarchy and optimize performance;
Execute end-of-day processing (batch, backup/restore);
Assist the Systems and Networks Administrator in the accomplishment of his mission,
Have at least BAC + 02 in Computer Maintenance, Networks and Telecommunications, Maintenance and network infrastructures or other equivalent diploma; Have at least 02 years of experience in a similar position.
Technical skills:
Be able to diagnose a hardware or software computer malfunction and provide a solution;
Be able to install and configure the workstation according to user profiles and perform operational tests;
Be able to technically assist employees and offer quality service; Ability to handle emergency situations and prioritize.
