Context
Impact Santé Afrique (ISA ) is a non-governmental organization based in Cameroon whose main objective is to contribute to improving the health of populations by implementing transformative and sustainable programs that will save lives and improve the health of our communities (for more information, visit www.impactsante.org ). Impact Santé Afrique (ISA ), as part of the development activities of GFAN Francophone Africa, is looking for a qualified professional for the revamping of the GFAN Francophone Africa web page, as well as the creation of an interactive map.
The objective is to revitalize the GFAN Francophone Africa web page, by creating an interactive and attractive online platform that will better communicate on activities and advocacy actions related to the fight against HIV, tuberculosis and malaria in Africa.
Main responsibilities
The selected professional will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Give new life to the GFAN Francophone Africa web page using modern tools and technologies.
- Create an interactive map to dynamically display information related to GFAN Africa data and members.
- Ensure user-friendly navigation and a responsive interface on the web page.
- Integrate features to share resources, videos, reports, etc.
- Work closely with the Impact Santé Afrique communications team to ensure content is engaging and consistent.
Consultant profile
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in web design and development. Note that the work will be done on a website hosted on WordPress.
- A solid command of programming languages and web tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Previous experience creating interactive maps.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of issues related to HIV, tuberculosis and malaria in Africa would be an asset.
