Societe Generale Cameroon is looking for for its General Resources Department: One (01) Works Engineer

For this Category 10 position based in Douala, the incumbent will be responsible for studies and monitoring of real estate development and renovation projects as well as the maintenance and sustainability of technical and real estate assets.

Main activities
1. Animation & Management

a. Manage real estate development and renovation projects

– Ensure the smooth running of agency development and renovation projects

– Visit the various sites proposed in the project for evaluation of the technical constraints

– Serve as an interface between the architect and the bank

 

– Ensure the validation of the plans with the General Management and the execution of the budget according to the respect of the internal procedures

– Participate in the consultation of companies and monitor the execution of the work

b. Ensure the maintenance of sites in operation and out of operation: ensure monthly the effective passage of maintenance companies; monitor the resolution of the logistical needs expressed on the various sites; propose solutions to the technical problems of the heritage

vs. Contribute to the development and monitoring of the investment budget: contribute to the search for ways to save money; control and validate the payment of invoices from the various service providers according to the SLAs

d. Contribute to the execution of permanent monitoring work: take charge, on request, of work relating to managerial monitoring in strict compliance with set deadlines

 

2. Risks

– Ensure responsibility for commitments made in its sector of activity and liaison with the Risk Department

– Understanding the risk linked to the activity within its scope

3. Management

– Ensuring the management of fixed assets according to procedures

– Checking the compliance of operational procedures or methods

– Contribute to the updating of existing procedures

 

 

Profile
Diploma: Engineer or Bacc +5 in Civil Engineering or Industrial Maintenance or any other equivalent diploma

Experience: Minimum three years in the field of real estate project management and building maintenance
