95 VOLUNTEER MENTORS

BACKGROUND OF THE CALL

As part of the implementation and reinforcement of the support system for the young beneficiaries of the Thee-Year Special Youth-Plan (TYSYP), in the perspective of ensuring the performance and sustainability of their businesses created within the Plan, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education is launching a Call for Applications for the recruitment of ninety-five (95) Volunteer Mentors to support junior entrepreneurs financed under the TYSYP.

CONDITIONS TO BE FULFILLED TO BE A VOLUNTEER MENTOR

To apply, candidates must:

• be of Cameroonian nationality;
• enjoy full civil rights;
• be of good character;
• be available to complete the mentoring work;
• be regularly present in the mentoring community.

COMPENSATION OF THE VOLUNTEER MENTOR

The Volunteer Mentors shall receive a flat-rate monthly allowance for transportation and communication during the mentoring period.

In addition, at the end of their services, they will receive recognition parchments duly signed by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education.

CONSTITUTION OF THE APPLICATION FILE

The application file consists of the following elements:

a duly completed application form, to be downloaded from the National Youth’s Observatory’s website at www.onjcameroun.cm or collected from the MINJEC’s Mail Service, located at the Administrative Center of Yaoundé, or from any Regional and Departmental Delegations of Youth Affairs and Civic Education;

• a letter of motivation duly signed by the candidate;
• a copy of the applicant’s National Identity Card;
• a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV):
• a certificate of non-conviction;
• a copy of the highest diploma;
•  formal proof of the qualifications and expertise mentioned in the candidate’s CV;
•  a residence certificate duly signed by the relevant administrative or municipal authority.
