The Association Camerounaise pour le Marketing Social (ACMS) is looking for candidates in the position of Drivers (M/F) based in Ngaoundéré, Garoua and Yaoundé.
What do we recruiting ?
The Program Driver will provide transportation services for project staff, equipment, and materials. This role involves ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods and personnel, maintaining the vehicle, and supporting logistical operationsUnder the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager will be responsible for collaborating with the project’s technical managers and government partners to oversee the implementation of monitoring and evaluation of project activities. They report to Logistic Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide reliable transportation for project staff, equipment, and materials.
Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods and personnel.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the vehicle.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
Assist with logistical operations and transport coordination.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with project policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo during transportation.
Address and resolve any issues related to transportation or vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications and skills required:
Ordinary level certificate or higher
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 5 years of driving experience, preferably in a project or NGO setting.
Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations and defensive driving Good knowledge of motor mechanic engineering for both diesel and gasoline motors.
Fluency in English and French.
Personal Attributes:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Reliable and responsible.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
