The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) is a non-governmental organization incorporated under Cameroonian law whose primary mission is to sustainably and measurably improve the social situation of the Cameroonian population and promote health. ACMS works in cooperation with the government and its public and private sector partners to deliver high-quality health programs that reach all populations in need. For over twenty-five years, ACMS has been providing the Cameroonian population with comprehensive, evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria, and HIV prevention, among others.
ACMS implements the HIV-CHASAC project which is a PEPFAR/CDC funded project with the main mission of providing financial and technical support to Cameroon through the Ministry of Health (MINSANTE) for the monitoring of HIV/AIDS programs and the implementation of national activities in health facilities in its intervention area, namely the Adamawa and North regions.

The Cameroon Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) is seeking candidates for the position of Clinical Nurses (M/F).
Who are we recruiting?
The Clinical Nurse reports to the Integrated Service Delivery Specialist of the Program with the main responsibilities of:
Essential missions:
1. Support the ART clinic in the delivery of holistic clinical services to patients to ensure adherence and retention in care.
2. Supervise the site team in the implementation of health literacy and communication strategies for the improvement of HIV services.

3. Support site staff in the delivery of quality HIV services to people living with HIV/AIDS, in accordance with national HIV care guidelines.
4. Build the capacity of Psycho-Social Agents (PSAs) and clinical staff on HIV prevention, care and treatment services, including testing and linkage to care, PMTCT (Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission) and early infant diagnosis, HIV prevention in key populations, TB/HIV coinfection, retention in care, viral load monitoring and management, etc.
5. Support and continuum of care.




6. Oversee the correct documentation of clinical services provided to patients in the appropriate source documents.
7. Serve as a liaison between ACMS, the health facility and the health district team for service coordination and stakeholder engagement.
8. In collaboration with the ART Clinic Coordinator, Unit Manager and M&E Assistant, facilitate the implementation of the handshake model with Key Population (KP) partners, OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children) and other third-party partners working with health facilities.
9. Lead the institutionalization and implementation of data validation, coordination, quality improvement (CQI) and other site-specific meetings to assess site data, identify and address programmatic gaps.
10. Ensure that targets assigned to program indicators are disaggregated and shared with site staff according to their programmatic responsibilities.
11. Lead the establishment and smooth functioning of the CQI team and committee at the supported site.
12. Coach and support site staff in the application of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles and practices.
13. Identify and implement quality improvement projects at the supported site.
14. Ensure the achievement of assigned HIV care objectives within the facility by implementing all recommended project strategies and activities.
15. Participate in monthly Data Quality Assessment (DQA) activities, quarterly program evaluations, and Site Improvement Through Monitoring Systems (SIMS) activities and lead the implementation of recommendations from these activities. 16.
Ensure the availability of equipment, materials, and resources required for the effective implementation of project activities and monitoring of achievements.
17. Work with the ART Clinic Unit Manager and the M&E Assistant to determine cash flow requirements for routine site activities, track expenditures, account for funds received, and reconcile advances on a monthly basis.
18. Maintain confidentiality of patient and program information at the supported site.




Qualifications and skills required:
Hold at least a State Nursing, Midwifery, or other related training in the fields of science or social sciences. A Master’s degree in Public Health is an asset.
Be registered with the National Order of Nurses of Cameroon or any other national regulatory body.
Have at least 3 years of professional experience in the provision of HIV care, treatment and management.
Ability to interact with people from diverse professional and social backgrounds in a tactical, diplomatic, and culturally appropriate manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Fluency in French and English.
An understanding of Fulfulde would be an asset.
