RECRUITMENT OF THE NATIONAL COORDINATOR / PROJECT CONSULTANT 

CARE International in Cameroon has been selected by the National Coordinating Body as the Principal Recipient of the Civil Society HIV-TB grant (Community Prevention component) for the period 2024-2026. To this end, CARE International in Cameroon has selected JOIN ACTING PROCESS FOR THE SUCCESS OF SUSTAINABLE OBJECTIVES (JAPSSO) to act as Sub-Recipient-HUMAN RIGHTS in the 10 regions of Cameroon. The NGO JAPSSO will have a National Office and three (03) Regional Coordinations namely Adamawa, North and Far North (ANEN); Center, South and East (CSE); Littoral, West, North-West and South-West (LONOSO). The implementation period of the Project is set from March 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026 and for its execution the NGO JAPSSO must recruit staff.  

1. Purpose of the call for applications 

As part of the implementation of its activities, the NGO JAPSSO is launching an urgent call for applications for the recruitment of the National Coordinator/Consultant of the project. 

01 / OF A NATIONAL COORDINATOR/CONSULTANT 

– Bac + 5 years in project management, monitoring and evaluation or in a related field
– Minimum 04 years of professional experience including 02 years of relevant previous professional experience, particularly in the context of projects financed by international donors or NGOs

– Minimum two years of experience as a Program Officer or Project Coordinator or Technical Advisor
– Experience with the projects and procedures of the Global Fund or any other donor
– Having worked in a similar position
– Practical knowledge of the use of software dedicated to project management (ACCESS, EXCEL, EPI DATA, etc.)
– Organizational skills, analytical rigor and respect for deadlines required for the production and transmission of documents
– Very good management and coordination skills 
– Ability to establish solid working relationships with colleagues from different functions and cultures
– Ability to work under pressure 
– Ability to federate with the organization’s staff
– Ability to evolve within a multi-curricular environment
– Mastery of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet
– Perfect command, written and oral, of French and/or English

2. Places of execution of the contract:
The places of execution of the staff contract are: Yaoundé (National Office) with travel in the ten regions.

3. Working Conditions:

Local law employment contract/Local law consultant contract
Remuneration according to profile, experience and budget availability

 

 

Duration of the fixed contract: 06 months renewable once with a one-month trial period. 
Starting date: December 1, 2025 and upon signature of the contract. 

4. Deadline for submitting applications:
In a sealed envelope with the mention: “NOTICE OF URGENT CALL FOR APPLICATIONS OPEN JAPSSO/GC7/HUMAN RIGHTS/2025 for the position of NATIONAL COORDINATOR / PROJECT CONSULTANT”, including 01 original of the file and 04 photocopies, the documents to be provided are: 
• a cover letter
• a CV 
• a photocopy of the last diploma or certificate
• proof of experience
• a half 4*4 photo
• a photocopy of the national identity card
• a medical certificate dated less than one month 
• an extract from the criminal record
• two references 
• the compulsory salary expectation

HOW TO APPLY?
To be submitted only in Yaoundé, no later than Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. , at the JAPSSO NGO located in Bastos, on the Fifth Level of the Building between the Russian Embassy and the Spanish Embassy.  
Any incomplete application, submitted late, or submitted to partners will be purely and simply rejected.
