RECRUITMENT: TECHNICAL-COMMERCIAL MANAGER
MB CONTRACTOR is a service company that provides waterproofing and finishing solutions. The company is expanding and is looking for a Technical Sales Manager for its activities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the authority of Management, the Technical-Sales Manager works in the front office. His mission is to manage all of the company’s technical activity and to develop sales strategies for the company’s services to potential customers. He offers complex solutions drawing on his technical expertise. He manages a portfolio of clients and prospects (B2B and B2C). Due to his dual skills, he masters both the technical aspects of a sale and the specificities of the services he markets. He will have close collaboration with the works managers for the execution of the services. This job requires numerous trips across the city, and an often disrupted schedule.
MAIN MISSIONS
Project management
- Plan and supervise the progress of projects;
- Define and monitor the project budget under your responsibility;
- Give technical directives on a daily basis;
- Coordinate and collaborate with a team of technical consultants;
- Coordinate technical assistance with customer questions and change requests;
- Identify and propose the technicians and service providers assigned to the project;
- Negotiate the services of technicians and service providers in agreement with Management;
- Ensure payment of service providers for the proper progress of projects;
- Check the consistency of the diagnostics and the technical solutions proposed;
- Identify optimization levers;
- Contribute to a good relationship with partners;
- Coordinate and collaborate with Work Managers;
- Ensure the progress of projects and compliance with specifications;
- Ensure compliance with safety instructions and procedures.
Customer and prospect portfolio management
- Prospect within its scope of assignment;
- Negotiate markets in agreement with Management;
- Maintain customer relationships, retain existing customers and present new product/service products;
- Provide relevant and adapted solutions;
- Respond to calls for tenders, write commercial proposals and specifications (feasibility, planning, costs);
- Establish daily, monthly and/or annual activity reports;
- Ensure monitoring of predefined sales objectives;
- Collect purchase orders;
- Ensure monitoring of outstanding receivables;
- Report on your activity and participate in commercial and technical meetings.
Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of BTP and Construction regulations;
- Knowledge of the procedures applied by the company in the commercial and technical field;
- Knowledge of the market and distribution networks (items marketed by the company, customers, competitors);
- Knowledge of negotiation techniques;
- Basic accounting knowledge.
Expertise :
- Be able to know applications in the field of waterproofing and floor coverings;
- Be able to produce a schedule and a budget;
- Be able to carry out an inspection at the end of the work;
- Be able to evaluate a technician or service provider;
- Be able to identify and verify products and tools;
- Be able to apply QHSE rules in any intervention;
- Be able to define commercial objectives and develop the strategy to adopt to achieve them;
- Be able to lead commercial negotiations and close the sale;
- Be able to use commercial management software.

Required profile :
- Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Construction & Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-3 years minimum in similar activities, with satisfactory evaluation.
- Others: Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office pack;
- Ease of oral and written communication.
