NOTICE OF CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF THREE REGIONAL CASHIERS FOR THE PASSR

Who are we?




The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS), a member of the PSI network, is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law, whose main mission is to improve in a sustainable and measurable way the social situation of the Cameroonian population and to promote the health and prosperity of families. Thus, CASI works in cooperation with the government and its public and private sector partners to deliver high-quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For over twenty-five years, ACMS has provided the Cameroonian population with comprehensive, evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria, and HIV prevention among others.

The Programme d’Accès aux Services de la Santé de la Reproductive (PASSR) which recruits is a development project of the Republic of Cameroon co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through its development bank (KfW). CASI is in charge of the large-scale implementation of this Program.

Indeed, the PASSR implemented in four (04) regions of Cameroon (East, Adamawa, North and Far North) aims to increase the use of modern family planning methods including long-term methods of action.



Your Contribution:

  • Execute the expenses of the small cash of the region;
  • Make cash withdrawals in the bank to feed exclusively the petty cash;
  • Hold a cash and bank fog;
  • Ensure the permanent implementation of CAMS accounting procedures on the petty cash management aspect;
  • Ensure the implementation of the recommendations of the audits on the management of small cash of CASI;
  • Manage regional office supplies including stock tracking of sales documents;
  • Manage fuel vouchers and Tom Card from the regional office;
  • Ensure real-time supply of fuel supplies and vouchers;
  • Collect revenue from the sale of products and deposit them into dedicated bank accounts within the prescribed time frame;
  • Prepare invoices, receipts and remittance slips for timely submission of documents to accounting;
  • Periodically support accountants in their work;
  • Classify and record documents received;
  • Prepare monthly the filling elements of the sales and income tables to be made available to the accounting coordinator, for verification and transmission to headquarters;
  • Write the various monthly, quarterly and annual reports of its activities;
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

We are looking for three Regional Cashiers (M/F) who will embody the following CASI values:

The basics:

  • Baccalaureate G2If other bachelor’s degree, have in addition a BTS or BAC + 2 in Management, Accounting, Finance or a diploma deemed equivalent;
  • Minimum four (04) years of professional experience in the field of accounting, management or finance, including one (1) year as a Cashier;
  • In substitution of the required diploma: Have more than five (05) years of relevant professional experience as a Cashier;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Good ability to plan and anticipate potential and emerging obstacles;
  • Ability to establish strong public relations and be able to communicate in a team;
  • Have a high level of autonomy at work, but with a deep team spirit;
  • Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision within a multicultural team;
  • Demonstrate adaptability, patience, ingenuity, resilience and flexibility;
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty and good character (a moral guarantee will be sought);
  • Results-based management skills;
  • Be available to carry out regular field missions.

What would excite us?

  • Familiarity with social marketing and/or NGOs;
  • Fluency in French and/or English and have a sufficient command of the other language;
  • Good command of computer tools and software (Word, power point, Excel);
  • Passion for Accounting;
